Our Materials

Always made with organic, natural, or recyled fibers

These are our alternatives to conventional fibers.

Organic

To this day, organic cotton remains our main material, representing around 80% of our production in volume. We work with the toughest label for organic cotton garments: GOTS. Additionally, part of the cotton we use is Fairtrade-certified and ROC™ certified.

Natural

Natural fibers, if harvested with respect for their ecosystems, and manufactured without harmful chemicals, are an excellent choice of material. Here we're talking about Linen, Hemp, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose and Tencel™ Lyocell. These materials are great alternatives to synthetic fibers. They will decompose naturally and do not shed microplastics.

Recycled

Recycling existing material to create new textiles is the best way to reduce waste and resource use. Some garments, like swimwear or outerwear, require synthetic materials for performance reasons. For these, we use recycled polyester made of PET bottles, recycled nylon, and recycled wool.

Additional fibers

For performance reasons, we still rely on small percentages of conventional elastane or polyamide. We only use these when needed, they represent around 1% of our total volume of fiber production.
