Ricky Powell

Born and raised in New York City, Ricky Powell was a legendary photographer specializing in environmental portraits. He graduated with an A in Liberal Arts from LaGuardia Community College and a B.S. in Physical Education from Hunter College. Powell initially rose to fame because of his work with LL Cool J, RUN DMC and The Beastie Boys and he is well-known for his intimate photographs.
